Tell a Yorkshireman just ten years ago that the county would one day be a must-visit destination for the discerning foodie, and he’d probably tell you just what you could do on Ilkley Moor baht ‘at.
But fast-forward to 2016, and Yorkshire boasts not just more Michelin stars than any region outside London, but also two of the top three gastropubs in the UK. And that, as they say, is official.
In November we put a backstage pass in a signed copy of Sex & Drugs & Sausage Rolls by Graham Garrett.
The pass is for 2 people to spend a morning in The West House Restaurant kitchen followed by a tasting menu lunch with wine pairing - all for free!
There are sausage rolls and there are Graham Garrett's sausage rolls.
You sometimes wonder why you bother when you eat sausage rolls from a packet, but when you make these yourself and they're still warm they're sensational.
To celebrate the book launch of Sex & Drugs & Sausage Rolls by Graham Garrett, Face Publications are giving away an exclusive pair of Backstage Passes for two people to spend a morning in the Michelin-starred kitchen going behind the scenes of a busy working restaurant, warts and all, followed by a tasting menu lunch with food and wine pairing.

Chef Sat Bains’ Guinness World Record attempt to cook for the highest formal dinner in history failed when he developed hape (high altitude pulmonary edema), a life-threatening illness. While in Kathmandu he was caught up in the Nepal earthquake, which is now expected to have claimed up to 10,000 lives.
Right now, a British expedition is setting out to climb Mount Everest by the North Ridge. En-route to the top, they will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the Highest formal black tie Dinner Party at 7,100 metres above sea level.
They're trying to raise £100,000 for charity. In support of the expedition we're going to donate £10 from the proceeds of each of Sat's books we sell before the end of May, and we've reduced the price of the book by £10 to thank you for your support.
We've been working on an inspirational new book for the last few months, and now we can finally talk about it. The book is a unique project from an eighties rock star who became a groundbreaking Michelin-starred chef.
