James Mackenzie and his wife Kate at the Pipe & Glass Inn have taken Heston Blumenthal’s crown by winning the Michelin Guide’s coveted pub of the year award.
Rebecca Burr from the Michelin Guide said the pub won the award because of the “the warmth of the welcome, the friendliness of the staff, the character of the place and, of course, the food”.
We are currently working with James to produce his debut cookbook, ‘On The Menu’.
On The Menu is an autobiographical cookbook with an inspirational collection of over 70 recipes from one of the UK's brightest chefs. With a foreword by the BBC’s Nigel Barden and photography by Jason Lowe.
